As specialists in the Build to Rent to rent sector, Dandara Living is expanding its existing portfolio into purpose-built student accommodation. With a student accommodation development already operational in Aberdeen and planning permission secured for another in Glasgow, purpose built student accommodation continues to form a key part of Dandara Living’s business development going forward.
Our offer has been born from a combination of factors led by what customers want - both from their homes, and their relationships with landlords and neighbours. We recognise that life in a build to rent development is about much more than the apartment you live in, and so when considering the design of our buildings, we prioritise what matters most to people.
Each of our developments has a range of different areas where people can work, including lounge and kitchen areas, as well as private rooms available to book for parties. Many of our developments also have well-equipped gym and studios on site.
Typically, each of apartment will have its own private balcony or terrace. All of the kitchens will be fitted out with integrated appliances and the bedrooms all have built in wardrobes. The two bed apartments have equal sized ensuite bedrooms, making them perfect for sharers.
At the centre of our relationship with our customers is the tenancy agreement. Ours has been developed to provide maximum security of tenure for the people who live in our buildings together with an ability to put down roots, and make the home their own by decorating or moving in their pet with them.
Our on-site teams organise social events throughout the year as well as facilitating the various interest-led clubs such as cycle groups, gardening clubs, book clubs, that are created according to the interests of the residents at that development.

Dandara Living’s first development in Bristol is currently under construction at Little Paradise, one of the five developments which form Bedminster Green. Dandara Living has also submitted proposals for 437 apartments on a brownfield site at Clarence Road to create a vibrant community in Bristol’s Temple Quarter.
